Special Courts for Overseas Pakistanis have been established in Islamabad under the Special Courts (Overseas Pakistanis Property) Act, 2024 to ensure expeditious resolution of disputes, particularly those relating to immovable property. In pursuance of the Act, two District and Sessions Judges have been designated in the district judiciary, while one Honorable Judge of the Honourable Islamabad High Court has also been nominated.

Moreover, similar initiatives are in progress in other provinces and regions of Pakistan and are currently at varying stages of adoption.
AS per directive of the Prime Minister, cases pertaining to Overseas Pakistanis, particularly those involving immovable property disputes, be given utmost priority and resolved at the earliest possible stage to safeguard their rights and interests of overseas Pakistanis.
