The Embassy of Pakistan in Hungary hosted National Day Reception. A large number of officials from the Government of Hungary, diplomatic corps, private sector and media attended at the event. Deputy Speaker of Hungarian Parliament, H.E. István Jakab graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Asif Hussain Memon hailed the bilateral relationship between the both countries which has witnessed monumental growth in recent years. He highlighted shared commitment by the leadership of both countries in transforming the relationship into a multifaceted one.
H.E. István Jakab noted that this year both countries are celebrating 60 years of establishment of bilateral relationship. He particularly mentioned role of Pakistani students in Hungary and contribution of MOL in Pakistan’s hydrocarbon sector in strengthening bilateral ties.
