To commemorate the “Kashmir Solidarity Day” , the Embassy of Pakistan in Budapest organized an event. Messages of the President, the Prime Minister were read on the occassion, which emphasised Pakistan’s diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiri brethren.
Ambassador Asif Hussain Memon underscored the importance of settling the issue of Kashmir in accordance with the UNSC resolutions. He said that Kashmiris have an inalienable right to self determination and it is the responsibility of the international community to help resolve the issue in accordance to the wishes of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
