Visit for New CNIC or renewal of old CNIC
Passport
Currently, Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna processes Machine Readable Passports (MRP) for Pakistanis residing in Hungary. The Embassy of Pakistan, Budapest issues facilitation letters to the applicants who intend to travel to Vienna for issuance/renewal of Passport.
Applicants can either apply online for new passport, renewal of old passport OR
Visit Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna, Austria for new passport or renewal of old passport.
Marriage certificate
- In case Marriage has been solemnised in Hungary, Original Marriage Certificate, issued, within period of last three months, by concerned authorities in Hungary
- In case if Marriage has to take place, Affidavit, Letter from Union Council and letter from parents stating that their child is unmarried/ single (attested from MoFA, Pakistan).
- Applicant’s original Passport/ CNIC/ residence card Original along with copies of Valid Passports of husband and wife, (copy of valid CNIC, in case of Pakistani husband or wife).
- Copy of residence Card (in case of Pakistani husband or wife).
- 02 passport size photographs (both of husband and wife).
- Fee HUF 5000/-
Birth Certificate
- Birth Certificate should be attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary

Police Clearance Certificate
- Embassy can attest police character certificate, which is attested by MOFA, Pakistan
- Original and valid CNIC, Passport and Hungarian Residence card
- Fees: 7000 HUF
- For processing of new certificate from Pakistan, applicant has to authorize one of the family members residing in Pakistan, who can apply for Police Clearance Certificate on applicant’s behalf at the concerned Police department. The Authority letter is required to be attested from this Embassy.
Educational Degree Attestation
The attestation of educational degrees from Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade are accepted in Pakistan. However, in case of attestation required by the Embassy, please bring the attested degree along with original and valid CNIC, Passport and Hungarian Residence card. Fees is 7000 HUF
Power of Attorney
Pakistani nationals can apply for Power of Attorney manually by visiting the Embassy or online.
For Attestation of the Power of Attorney, the Executant (Principal) has to appear at Embassy along with two witnesses with original and copies of their passports/CNIC/ residence card including 2 pictures of Executant, copies of his/her valid passport, CNIC and resident Card.

Emergency Travel Document
- Emergency Travel Document (ETD) is issued to the Pakistani nationals for travelling back to Pakistan only in extreme emergency cases when theirPakistani Passportis not available OR they are not eligible for issuance of a new passport / renewal of passport.
- The applicant has to submit the proof of genuine emergency for issuance of Emergency Travel Document.
